1. Colour and Composition Workshop with Susan Ashbrook

It's not too late to register for this workshop. We are extending the registration to Monday, October 17th.

Workshop Date: October 29, 2016
Time: 10:30 – 4:30pm
Cost: $65 for members and $80 for non-members
Location: Orleans Superstore, 2nd floor, 4270 Innes Rd, Ottawa

Susan Ashbrook loves sharing her knowledge with those who want to learn. During this workshop she will impart her knowledge on colour and composition. Of all the visual elements, colour has the greatest impact on our emotional response. Its presence not only is limited to its own visual strength; it also is an overriding component in every shape, line and texture. On the other hand, composition pulls the eye of the viewer across the painting, taking in individual elements to finally focus on the main feature or focus of the painting.
